Potter’s Wheel offers a unique program of positive Christian influence for men 18 years of age and older who have a desire for a new lifestyle. II Corinthians 5:17 tells us, “Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away. Behold, all things are become new.”
Treatment is provided through continual association with skilled dedicated followers of Jesus Christ. Most of the staff members, themselves recovering addicts, now feel a personal calling to carry out the mission found in II Corinthians 1:4, “Comfort those in trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.”
Men learn to form the necessary disciplines of life through a “spiritual bootcamp” type program. This involves Orientation, Regeneration, Inner Healing, and Beyond Elementary Classes as well as other designed to be fundamental in maintaining freedom from drugs and alcohol.
Coupled with work related duties, we believe this provides men a foundational structure that will help them live out their sobriety and grow in their relationship with God in their personal lives.
